Dr. Harry Lewis MSW, Ed.D
I am a licensed psychiatric social worker specializing in Orgone Therapy, character-analysis, and psycho-somatic disorders. I have been a student of the work of Dr. Wilhelm Reich since 1970. I received my MSW from Fordham University and my doctorate from Columbia University. I did my postgraduate training in psychoanalysis at the Postgraduate Center for Mental Health in New York City, and my training in Orgone Therapy with Dr. Victor M. Sobey, M.D., who was trained by Dr. Reich and worked closely with him until Dr. Reich's death in 1957. I worked as Dr. Sobey's close associate until his death in 1995.
I have taught psychology, child development and psycho-somatic psychology at The New School for Social Research for over 30 years, and lectured extensively on the work of Dr. Reich as well as the work of Dr. John Bowlby. I am a member of The Institute for Organomic Science, and I run an active training program in Orgone Therapy in New York City. I have practiced Orgone treatment in Manhattan's Greenwich Village for over 30 years.
